Summer Concert

I attended a summer concert yesterday amidst pale grey sky with drifting tiny particles of dust, dancing to the rhythm of the blaring music. Finally ,the haze subsided in the evening, and I still donning XXL T and shorts cut capers when my friend agreed to attend the concert. In a fleeting instant, I changed into my fav attire and head off to the concert. TOo bad that we were late, but we managed to burrow in the crowd but landed very much afar from the stage.Standing on the brink of an elevated ground, my eyes were riveted to the flabbergasting performance for three hours. Without a drop of water to quench thirst and tummy grumbling and leg aching, I stayed rooted on the spot, like a sturdy statue , cheering and singing along as the music jaunted through the air. I was rather enthusiastic, huh?  The atmosphere was really exciting , with splashes of water from the stage to cool down the over excited fans, and huge balls to toss around.

The stage was amazing, with lights rolling across the crowds, some directed to the sky, scintillating through the clouds, piercing past the breezy and balmy air. Nonetheless, some singers triggered somnolence and induced sleepiness in me.Poor selection of songs I guess, but overall I would rate this concert 3/5. There’s some more room for improvement.

At least it was like a Sat nite fever, something that we don’t always enjoy here. I hope the concert will return next year, I haven’t pumped up enough volume.
